Barkworthy Event: Badass Brooklyn Summer Fest

Sunday, June 11th, from 12 to 5 PM

Everyone is invited! Badass will be taking over a block in Gowanus!
It’s on President St in between 3rd and Nevins, near the R subway station at Union St.
You can find all of the details here!

Badass Brooklyn is a rescue group who has saved many hundreds of dogs, mostly from the rural south, and brings them to New York for adoption. They take excellent care of the dogs they rescue, and some of the medical expenses they cover can be quite costly, which is why events like this are so important. Bark Baby Bark Care Manager Sam’s dog, Minnie, was rescued from Dallas, and they’re both so grateful for the work Badass has done!

This year’s Summer Fest will have a ton of dog friendly activities, merchants from the community, and food vendors! Canal Bar will be there with beers on tap, Shake Shack has Pooch-inis, and there will be dog food tasting too. Trainers and veterinarians will be there if you need any expert advice, and even an agility course for the athletic ones! Everyone always loves the Kissing Booth too, which will feature lots of Badass alum, as well as adoptable pups!

We’ll see you and your dog there! Can’t wait!
